We are pleased to be able to offer this coffee from a first place Cup of Excellence competition winner and friend, Luis Alberto Balladarez. Each year we ask Luis to select coffees for us, and each year he surpasses our expectations.
The farm is located in the far north of Nicaragua La Cordillera de Dipilto. The mountainous terrain for the region has a unique and contrasting microclimate. The north side's climate is lush Pacific tropics ideal for growing coffee, and the south side's climate is extremely arid making drying coffee easy.
This specific coffee is of the same variety and farm that Luis won the Cup of Excellence with in 2018.
