Resurrection Day - The best reason to celebrate
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" 1 Cor 5:35
There are a lot of reasons to celebrate - holidays, major accomplishments, personal milestones, and even being alive another day. Join us at Serve Coffee tomorrow as we celebrate the greatest event in human history, Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
As Peter said on Pentecost: "Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,[d] put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. (Acts 2:22)
As Jesus said in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die".
